Theophany University and The Club Educatif et Culturel de Levixon Lundi pour la Paix et le Développement (CECLLPAD) based in Haiti, Caribbean conferred on Dr. Froilan D. Mobo, the Doctor of Humanities in Social Work, Honoris Causa last 31 October 2020. The official awarding ceremony will take place next year April 2021 in San Fernando, Pampanga.
Headed by Dr. Levixon Lundi and institutionalized in the Philippines by Dr. Zaldy De Leon, the award-giving bodies recognize individuals who have made significant contributions both at the national and international levels through their research and extension work.
Dr. Mobo is a graduate of Diploma in Social Studies Education (DSSE) under the Faculty of Education (FEd) of the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU). Recently, he was a recipient of two international awards in academics and research. He is currently Assistant Director of the Department of Research and Development at the Philippine Merchant Marine Academy and is pursuing his second doctoral degree in Development Education at Central Luzon State University.
