The Faculty of Education (FEd) is calling for volunteer students to take part in its Peer Empowerment Program (PEP). Interested FEd students may become volunteer PEP Leaders who will be performing the following roles:
- Facilitate mentorship activities where experienced learners guide new learners
- Assist new learners in navigating their academic lives at FEd and UP Open University
- Serve as champions of FEd and UPOU learning community
- Inspire new learners as they develop their skills as ODeL learners
- Promote peer pastoral care among learners (experiences and new)
To apply, FEd students must accomplish the following requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be a bona fide student with good academic standing
- Must have satisfactorily completed at least two terms in their respective academic programs
- Must have no cases filed against them at the Office of Student Affairs
- Must submit an updated CV and an application letter indicating your purpose for applying for a PEP leader though this form: https://url.upou.edu.ph/
