The free online Bridge program offered by the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) Faculty of Education (FEd) and Ugnayan ng Pahinungód opened on 01 July 2020.
Currently, there are 4,253 participants for the Bridge English course, who are under the guidance of 16 Gurong Pahinungód (GP) volunteers serving as course coordinators. For the Bridge Mathematics course, there are 3,972 participants, with 26 GP volunteers serving as course coordinators.
The program will run from July to September of 2020, and is offered via the MODeL platform.
Through this joint offering of the Faculty of Education and Ugnayan ng Pahinungód UPOU, participants’ knowledge and skills in the disciplines of English and Mathematics will be enriched. More importantly, their daily practice of and confidence in these areas will be further encouraged with the support of their respective course coordinators.
